If the applicant makes alterations to the existing building, the ACSA will review the new plumbing fixture counts to determine if the existing meter will suffice or if an upgrade is required. This will be handled at the building permit stage. We will also verify backflow protection at that time. Alexander J. Morrison, P.E. Civil Engineer Albemarle County Service Authority 168 Spotnap Road Charlottesville,Virginia 22911 (0)434-977-4511 Ext. 116 (C)434-981-5577 (F)434-979-0698 1 Johnathan Newberry From: Margaret Maliszewski Sent: Monday,January 04, 2016 9:49 AM To: Johnathan Newberry Subject: Salam SPs preliminary comments The drawing submitted with the application appears to include notes from a previous proposal identifying features that are not new or proposed at this time. The following comments are based on the assumption that the only physical change proposed at this time is the provision of parking spaces for the body shop use,the autos for sale, and for employees in the existing paved area. The position of existing buildings on and around this site significantly limits views into the rear of the subject property. The view is further limited by the distance from the Entrance Corridor(EC)and vehicles typically parked in parking lots closer to the EC.These factors limit visibility to such a degree that no impact from the proposal is expected on the EC.Please note: 1. No signs will be approved with this application. Signs require a separate sign application. 2. A note on the drawing located in the east/northeast corner of the auto body lot is not legible. 3. It is not clear whether any new fencing is to be added to the site for this use. If new fencing is proposed, the location, material, height, color and design of the fence should be noted on the drawing. 4. Clarification of#2 and#3 could result in additional comments.
