RE: Letter of Revision #1 to SDP201700001, Commonwealth Apartments
Ms. Patrick,
This letter approves your submitted Letter of Revision (dated July 12, 2018) for the above referenced site
plan. The approved LOR revises the site plan to add a staircase, retaining wall, patio, and adjust the
location of water lines as depicted in "Commonwealth Apartments SDP2017-1 letter of Revision #1
Exhibit 1-A: Building Grading & New Stairs and Exhibit B: Waterline Revisions," by Shimp Engineering,
P.C. (hand) dated 7/13/18. There are no other changes to SDP201600057 proposed or approved at this
time.
This is the first Letter of Revision to this site plan. Three (3) Letters of Revision are allowed, after which
all required changes must be submitted in the form of a site plan amendment.

Regarding: SDP 2017-1- Commonwealth Apartments
Letter of Revision #1
Dear Reviewer,
Attached is the first Letter of Revision for Commonwealth Apartments. There are three changes, including an added
staircase on the southWt side of the building, a small retaining wall and patio on the northern face of the building,
and an adjustment of the water lines.
The added staircase provides safer access to the the basement units from the outside. The small retaining wall allows
for the basement unit in that area to receive sunlight, for it lowers the ground elevation of that area below window
height. Additionally, it allows for a separate access to the unit. Finally, the location that the water lines enter the
building has changed after fine-tuning of the architectural plans. The 4" fire suppression line is now 6".
