Dear Mr. Perez:
This letter is to document and respond to your review comments dated August 22, 2018 for
the above referenced project. Our responses are as follows:
Plan Reviewer, Christopher Perez
1. Comment: On Sheet C-4 provide the approved site plan # for each section/sheet
which permitted the improvements. This will be helpful and useful for staff to
track down all required information on the site plan whenever the applicant comes
in for a revision to the site.
Response: The requested approved site plan number for each section/sheet which
permitted the improvements has been added to Drawing No. C-4. The approved
site plan numbers were obtained from County View (see attached listing of plans).
2. Comment: Sheet C12 fails to depict the lower parking lot, accessway
modifications, and stormwater management improvements that were approved on
SDP2014-60 (in phase 2 of this approval). On the plans please depict, label,
dimension, and cloud out the approved phase 2 improvements per SDP2014-60,
with a note that the plans expire on June 11, 2020.
Response: Drawing No. C-12A has been added which depicts the SPD2014-060
improvements with the Phase 2 improvements clouded to include the note
indicating plan expiration date of June 11, 2020.
3. Comment: The cover sheet shall also reference SDP2016-41 Farmington Country
Club East Nine Practice Facility — Minor Amendment. That site plan was
approved in 2016 and the improvements were built. On the plans depict the entire
extent of both storm sewer pipes, and depict the full extent of the drainfield.
Response: Drawing No. C-7 depicts the SPD2016-4lasbuilt conditions. The new
storm drain pipes shown on the approval plans were not built. An open channel
drainage system was constructed instead. The waterline is private. Shrub
plantings over private waterlines are acceptable. The extent of the drainfield has

been added and is based on available information.
4. Comment: The cover sheet shall also reference SP1992-7.
Response: The requested information has been added to the cover sheet.
5. Comment: Nearly half of the Tax Map Parcel numbers listed throughout the plans
are incorrectly labeled. Revise.
Response: The TMP numbers on Drawing No. C-7 have been corrected as based
on Albemarle County GIS information.
6. Comment: On the cover sheet add parking setbacks: 20' front, 20' side, and 20'
rear. Or provide justification why these are not applicable to the development?
Response: The cover sheet has been revised to include the requested information.
7. Comment: On sheet 1 revise the title of the plan: "SDP2018-44 Farmington
Country Club—Consolidation Plan—Minor Amendment".

Dear Sir:
Your Minor Amendment application has been reviewed. In order for the amended site plan to be
approved the following revisions are required:

information on the site plan whenever the applicant comes in for a revision to the site.
2. [Comment] Sheet C12 fails to depict the lower parking lot, accessway modifications, and
stormwater management improvements that were approved on SDP2014-60 (in phase 2 of this
approval). On the plans please depict, label, dimension, and cloud out the approved phase 2
improvements per SDP2014-60, with a note that the plans expire on June 11, 2020.

Also, based on the as built and a site visit it appears shrubs have been planted atop the waterline
connecting to the building. Relocate the plantings 5' off the waterline. Also, once the storm drain
pipes are depicted, if any landscaping is within 5' of the pipe it shall also be relocated.
4. [Comment] The cover sheet shall also reference SP1992-7.

Staff has provided references to provisions of Chapter 18 of the Code of the County of Albemarle.
The Code is kept up to date by the County Attorney's office. The Code may found on the County
Attorney's website which may be found under "Departments and Services" at Albemarle.org.
In accord with the provisions of Section 32.4.3.5 of Chapter 18 of the Code if the developer fails to
submit a revised final site plan to address all of the requirements within six (6) months after the date
of this letter the application shall be deemed to have been voluntarily withdrawn by the developer. If
