Upon a field visit that occurred on 12th Oct 2018, the following deficiencies were noted: • Sediment Basin not fully stabilized and anti -vortex plate not installed in structure. • De -watering device not anchored to structure. • Silt Fence around entire site needs maintenance • Stabilize areas of site that will remain dormant or have remained dormant for 14 days or longer. • Stabilize all stock piles. • Repair and Stabilize Sediment Trap along Route 20. • Sediment has left area of containment along Rte. 20. Appears to be coming from the denuded areas that drain to the above -mentioned Sediment Trap. Clean and repair neighboring property. • Update SWPPP documents to reflect current conditions and all repairs made to site. • Install Diversion Ditches as per plan to direct runoff to the Sediment Basin. Please use the recent Amendment that was approved by the county. • Include a copy of the Amended plan in the onsite SWPPP documents. • Install a Jersey Barrier or something similar to the entry point from Avinity as required by the approved SDP, to prevent construction traffic from entering and exiting through Avinity. To comply, all above listed items must be completed prior to 26th Oct 2018. Failure to comply by the required date may subject the owner to penalties and remedies as listed under Sections 17-902 and 17-903 of the Water Protection Ordinance of the Albemarle County Code. Should you have a legitimate reason you cannot complete your required corrections by the above given date, you must immediately contact your erosion control inspector at (434) 270-3471. Unless you have contacted us and alternative arrangements are agreed to, all compliance work is expected to be completed by the above date.
