1. The lighting plan shows excessive lighting levels in several locations near the building.
Illumination at the ground should not exceed 20 fc. Please revise the lighting plan accordingly.
2. Add the standard lighting note to the plan: "Each outdoor luminaire equipped with a lamp that
emits 3,000 or more initial lumens shall be a full cutoff luminaire and shall be arranged or
shielded to reflect light away from adjoining residential districts and away from adjacent roads.
The spillover of lighting from luminaires onto public roads and property in residential or rural
areas zoning districts shall not exceed one half footcandle."

Dear Christopher,
On behalf of Bert and Florence Lee Wellons and Design Develop(DD)we submit this Letter
of Revision (LOR) request letter to describing the proposed changes to the above
referenced site plan.
Description of Proposed Work
The current state of the Republic Business Center at 285 Hydraulic Road is outdated and
in need of simple improvements.The owners intend to renovate the existing building and
rehabilitate its functionality and architecture. This will be an improvement for the
occupants as well as an aesthetic upgrage along this important corridor. To support this
rehabilitation work a few site elements will be updated.These updates are represented
within this Letter of Revision (LOR)Application.
The minor site plan improvements for this LOR application include a new accessibility
ramp for an entrance into the building. Adjacent to the ramp, in order to integrate the
vertical elevation change with the parking area,a small planting strip will be provided. No
utility work will be done.
Additionally, the footprint of the building will adjust subtly as the existing brick L IN

colonnades will be removed.A new building facade will be installed where these existing
brick colonnade walls currently stand. Please refer to the BAR application materials for
visual imagery where the building facade will be enhanced. GRADE
Finally, new lights will be added to the building based on architect design. None of the CIVIL ENGINEERING
lights on site shall be impacted or replaced. All the photometric details associated with
the building lights are provided in the drawing package.
