drawing and the color/brand/model of stone veneer proposed for the pier on a revised drawing as well.

Hello Travis,
I received the payment for the ARB review of your sign application as well as the plat which satisfies a site plan; these
address the first and second requests in the letter I sent 11-2-18, thank you. However, the letter's fourth request was for
you to provide a landscape plan for the proposed monument sign, which I do not have. Please refer to the Entrance
Corridor Sign Guidelines about criteria and standards on landscaping new monument signs.
Thank you for providing the thickness of the proposed panel sign in your email below. However, my follow-up email on
11-2-18 requested that you provide a// three dimensions of the stone base/pier as well as the thickness of the sign panel.
Please provide this information on a revised drawing and return to me electronically.

Attached is the landscape plan. Stanley Martin is sending a check directly to you all for the review.
The signs is 12"x44" roughly %" thick. Brushed flat silver aluminum applied lettering. Bracket is 44" long and roughly %2"
thick. Sign is double faced.

Hello Travis,
ARB staff has received your sign permit application because the parcel in question lies adjacent to an Entrance Corridor
and thereby requires ARB review. A simple way to determine whether a parcel is in the Entrance Corridor overlay district
is to visit the website: http://gisweb.aibemarie.org/GiSWeb/ and hit the "Go To Mapping" hyperlink on the left. Once
there, you can find the parcel by tax map parcel number or address; click the "Entrance Corridor Overlay" layer under
"Zoning Info" to see whether it lies within that overlay or not.
Because your proposal is within the Entrance Corridor overlay district and does not meet the criteria of a Comprehensive
Sign Review (again, this can be checked on our website here), a fee for ARB review is due. Please remit this directly to
intake staff; for questions, call 434.296.5832.
I have completed the review of your application and it is missing information. Design review cannot commence until the
missing information is supplied. Please see the attached letter for more detail.

RE: ARB -12018-142: Chesterfield Landing freestanding sign (TMP 056M0-00-00-03300)
Dear Mr. Cole,
We have received your above -referenced sign application. Your application was incomplete. We cannot
begin review until the missing information is submitted. The following items were missing from your
submittal:
1. Provide the $129.00 fee for ARB review. Direct the payment directly to intake staff (434-296-5832).
2. Provide a site plan or latest approved plat showing, to scale, the proposed location of the sign with
dimensions as well as the distance from the sign to the property lines and/or edge of the VDOT right-of-
way.
3. If the sign will be externally illuminated, any lighting must be included with the application and an
electrical permit will be required.
4. Provide a site plan showing proposed landscaping around the sign, including botanical names and
planting sizes.
Please re -submit your sign drawings, including the missing information. (You may email the revised
drawings to me at hmcmahon(cr�,albemarle.org or send the copies by U.S. mail.) If the missing items are
received within 15 days of the date of this letter, we will proceed with review, and the submittal date will
be adjusted according to the date of your resubmittal. If the missing items are not received within 15 days
of the date of this letter, the application will be denied and a new fee will be required to submit a new
application.
