The County of Albemarle Division of Planning Services will grant or recommend approval of the
Boundary Line Adjustment plat referenced above once the following comments have been
addressed. [Each comment is preceded by the applicable reference, which is to the
Subdivision/Zoning Ordinances unless otherwise specified.]
1. Sect. 14-312 Location of existing buildings: It is unclear if the dwelling on TMP 102-40C
meets the requirement for showing a building within 50' of a proposed property line. GIS is
not reliable for making this determination. Revise the plat to show the ends of the building
closest to proposed property lines and dimension the distance to those lines.
2. Sect. 14-302 (A) (10) Right of further division of proposed lots: Note D on Sheet 1 incorrectly
states T.M. 102-40B can be further divided. Correct the note to indicate it cannot be further
divided — as stated on the previously approved plat recorded in DB 3588, P. 154/155.
