Gallery Court Hotel: Overall Architectural Design, Form and Style
General Description:
The proposed Hyatt House project seeks to occupy the vacant lot between the existing Stonefiend shops
and the Hyatt Place hotel. The project provides a gentle transition between the two by providing
continuing the street front retail and gently receding away from the hard street frontage to create an
appropriate setback for the 6 story hotel to not overwhelm the street scape.
The hotel will provide 129 new guestrooms in just over 90,000 SF and provide an additional 12,000 SF of
retail space. The carefully selected finishes pull the modern cool tones from the retail and blends them
with the finishes on the Hyatt place by incorporating a matching stone on the first level and tying into a
stone water table along the retail. Fiber cement panels and Synthetic stucco in an ultra -smooth finish
clad the upper stories of the hotel for a clean contemporary design.
