Re: SDP-2018-00082- Oak Hill C. Store — Final Site Plan
Dear Mr. Perez:
The Department of Transportation, Charlottesville Residency Transportation and Land Use
Section, has reviewed the above referenced plan as submitted by Shimp Engineering, P.C., dated
May 07, 2018 and offer the following comments.
Land Use
1. The entrances shown on this plan do not meet access management standards nor does it
address comments on previous exception request submissions. Please revise.
2. It is unclear how roadway runoff is managed with this plan. Multiple curb inlets may be
necessary.
3. Please dimension the proposed entrance and parking bay geometry.
4. Right of way should be dedicated to one foot behind the curb.
A VDOT Land Use Permit will be required prior to any work within the right of way. The
ownerldeveloper must contact the Charlottesville Residency land Use Section at (434) 422-9399
for information pertaining to this process. If further information is desired, please contact Willis
