The County of Albemarle Planning Division will grant or recommend approval of the easement referenced above
once the following comments have been addressed: [Each comment is preceded by the applicable reference, which
is to the Subdivision/Zoning Ordinances unless otherwise specified.]
1. [14-301 (D)] Please include a North arrow on Sheet 2. Rev. 1: Comment addressed.
2. [14-302 (A)(4-5)] Call out the water easement and the water easement referencing DB1358 PG 148 as
ACSA water easements. Rev. 1: Comment addressed.
[14-302 (13)(1)] When submitting the revised easement plat, please include a date of last revision on each
sheet. Rev. 1: Comment addressed.
4. [14-302 (13)(5)] On Sheet 1, please identify any/all official zoning overlay districts that apply to the property.
(Note: The official zoning overlays that apply to this property are the Zoning Entrance Corridor and the
Airport Impact Area.) Rev. 1: Comment addressed.
5. [14-302 (B)(7)] On Sheet 1, please revise Note 7 to include the "Ivy Creek Water Supply Watershed". The
property lies within two watersheds, the Ivy Creek Supply Watershed and the Meadow Creek Watershed.
However, the application needs to specifically note that the property lies within the Ivy Creek Supply
Watershed as this is a reservoir watershed. (Note: Since the Ivy Creek Supply Watershed is the only
watershed that needs to be noted for easement approval, you do not need to include the Meadow Creek
Watershed in the note. However, if you would like to list both watersheds, I would recommend listing the
Ivy Creek Water Supply Watershed first, since the majority of the property lies within this watershed and
its notation is required per Albemarle County Code.) Rev. 1: Comment addressed.
6. [14-303 (H)] Please include labels and/or a legend to identify all monument types symbolized on the plat.
Currently, the plat identifies Iron Found (IF) locations, however, the Iron Set (IS) locations are not yet
labeled. Rev. 1: Comment accepted.
Please see attached review comments from Albemarle County Service Authority (ASCA) regarding ASCA
easements.
