Hello Margaret,
I hope you had a nice holiday. I worked with my customer and we came up with those changes for you.
1. We changed the color of blue to 3005 C.
2. We changed the sign to a rectangle.
3. We changed the sign size to 42" tall by 84" wide.
Attached you will find a new pdf that showcases the new design and sign details for you. Please let me know if you need
anything else.
Sincerely,
Kristyn Jones I Receptionist I Hightech Signs

Hey Margaret,
Yes, I was just looking at this one today and also noticed the potential size problem. Basically, with the leaves, it would
exceed the allowable sq. footage of 28 sq.ft. by 4-feet.The letters alone are only 9 sq.ft and without the leaves, but
including the frame, fall within the allowed, at 24.5 sq.ft.So, if ARB was ok with the design element of the leaves, I
would recommend to the applicant to keep them within the frame. Personally, I think it looks kind of silly with the leaves
extending so far outside the frame, but that's just me.
I also have to let them know they need to obtain their zoning clearance before we can approve the sign.
Thanks,
Jeff

Jeff,
I had some questions about the Guarjios sign;the applicant sent me revised/additional information in the attached
drawings. Can you tell me if the sign size is acceptable? Do your calculations include all the leaves?
Thanks.

Hello Margaret,
I went into my rendering and made some changes to better show how the sign is going to be constructed and how it's
going to be installed. Please let me know if the PDF does not come through, it's 9MB so it's a larger file. I would also like
to apologize for the missing information,as I'm new to the sign industry.
We have two intentions with the black backer. The first is to support the sign better due to its unique shape. The second
it to "clean up" what's going on behind the sign, which would be the frame and the roof pattern.
The space between the sign and the gutter is the existing distance between the frame and the gutter, which is about 3"
according to my scaling measurements. The light is attached to the frame and hangs over the sign.
Please let me know if you have any more questions.
**Hightech Signs will be closed Dec. 24t"thru Jan 1st in observance of the Christmas Holiday.**

Subject:Guajiros sign
Krystin,
I have two questions on your Guajiros sign application:
1. Can you explain the black frame? Is it existing? Is it necessary? Can you provide a section or side view of the sign
to clarify its appearance and the layering of the sign panel, frame, letters and backer print?
2. Can you confirm the available wall space between the light fixture and the gutter? Our records show that the
previous sign was 3'6"tall and it filled the space. The proposed Guajiros sign is 4'tall.
Thanks for your help.
