I'd like to let you know that i received the approval of entrance from VDOTtoday, and Mr. Bedsaul forwarded me the
approval letter.
We are ready to sign the plats. You may bring copies of them to the county. If you have a draft copy of the maintenance
agreement, please send me a copy and I will run it by the county attorney for review.

I will let you know once I hear back from the owner what they would like to do in regards to the street maintenance
agreement.
I have been corresponding with Willis Bedsaul at VDOT and he has looked over the plat and said it looked good. You may

Mr. Hutchinson,
I'd like to let you know that I finished the initial review of the SUB201800048- New 30' Access -easement application
submitted by you, and I have the following updates:
Article VI Roads on page.9-10 of the document recorded in Deed Book 1867 pg. 662 (see attached) refers to the
access easement /subdivision road that is to be abandoned per the plat submitted with this application.
Therefore, I recommend/advice the inclusion of or reference to the new 30' access easement in some form in
that old document or the creation of a new private street maintenance agreement involving the owners of the
lots the new easement serves. This is not a request but an advice/recommendation.
- The new 30' access easement requires VDOT's approval of entrance to a public road (i.e. Burnley Station Road). I
transmitted the plat to VDOT to get this approval, and I will keep you posted on that.
Once we get the VDOT's approval of entrance, we will be ready to sign the plat. If you end up creating a private street
maintenance agreement, you may send me a draft, and I will run it by the county attorney for review. Then you may
bring a signed copy of that maintenance agreement alongside signed plats to the department.
