Virginia 22701 October 10, 2017 County of Albemarle Department of Community Development 401 McIntire Road Charlottesville, VA 22902 Attn: Christopher Perez Re: North Pointe Northwest Residential Area — Final Plat SUB-2017-00129 Review #2 Dear Mr. Perez: The Department of Transportation, Charlottesville Residency Transportation and Land Use Section has reviewed the above referenced plan as submitted by Roudabush, Gale, & Associates, revsied 20 November 2018, and offer the following comment: 1. The Route 29 Improvements Plan (SUB201600196) for the entrance of this site and the Road Plan (SUB201600112) have not been approved at the time of this letter. 2. A sight distance easement is required at the Girard Drive entrance. 3. Please add a note stating that the public street right(s) of way are being dedicated to the County for public use. 4. Please add a note stating that sight distance easements are dedicated to public use and shall be kept clear of visual obstructions, including but not limited to fences, structures, and landscaping. If further information is desired, please contact Justin Deel at 434-422-9894. A VDOT Land Use Permit will be required prior to any work within the right-of-way.
