Margaret caught this height issue and I should've updated CV to mirror her comments.
The height must be reduced 75%. My comment was intended to address the fact that the sign structure itself got wider.

Justin Shimp gave me a call today in re:the sign permit for the Malloy Ford freestanding sign.Specifically, he wanted
clarification on Margaret's second comment on the ARB application (i.e., "The overall height needs to be reduced to
22'6",which is 75%of the existing sign height.The drawings currently show 22'8", so they would need to be revised
accordingly"). Under the building permit(B2018-2709S) review tab, Margaret has noted "sign is 2"too tall;waiting for
revised drawings" but you have approved the permit noting "11/28/18-Alteration is of sign area is 25%reduced and
height is reduced by 25%.There is nothing in the ordinance that prevents the sign structure from getting bigger.

accordingly. Rebecca, can you confirm?
Please email a set of revised drawings addressing these issues. When staff confirms that these issues have been
resolved, a Certificate of Appropriateness can be issued. If you have questions, please let me know.

Zoning and building code plans review are complete/approved.
It looks like Malloy has not applied for a zoning clearance at this location.That should be submitted asap:
