As discussed, thus far our reviewers have had no objections to your proposal and I do not anticipate any outstanding concerns that will need to be resolved before your public hearing by the Planning Commission. With that said, the soonest your application could be heard by the Planning Commission would be at their Tuesday, September 4th meeting. If this date works for you, I'll just need you to let me know and submit your payment for the public notice mailings & legal advertisement by August 10th, 25 days before the meeting. Any of the other meeting dates should work, and the same 25 day notice applies. I will follow up soon (likely Wednesday) regarding some of staff's recommended conditions of approval. These conditions are ultimately at the discretion of the Board of Supervisors, and would serve to help mitigate impacts arising from the home occupation (e.g. limitations on hours of operation, number of visitors, parking areas) and can be further discussed moving forward. I would also advise reaching out to potentially impacted neighbors before they receive their notification letter to help answer any questions or concerns that they may have. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Andrew Knuppel, AICP Candidate Neighborhood Planner Albemarle County Community Development 434-296-5832 x 3313
