The County will approve the plat referred to above when the following items have been satisfactorily addressed. (The
following review comments are those that have been identified at this time. Additional review comments or conditions
may be added or eliminated based on further review.)
This review was completed using the sections listed under Section 14-208.3 of the Subdivision Ordinance. References to
Chapter 14 (Subdivision Ordinance) and/or Chapter 18 (Zoning Ordinance) of the County Code precede each comment, as
may be applicable. The County Code is kept up-to-date by the County Attorney's office and may be found at
www.albemarle.org/cogplycode.
Community Development Department — Planning:
Requirements:
1. [Chapter 14, Sections 14-303(T) and 14-2061: The special lot annotation "Hereby dedicated to public street
purposes" does not meet Code requirements.
Please revise this annotation to read "Hereby dedicated to the County for public use."
Please also add the following required note: "The 0.025 acre special lot is established solely for the purpose of
dedication to the County of Albemarle for public street use and improvement."
VDOT:
Please see the attached VDOT recommendation for approval of SUB201900012 (dated 3/13/2019).
Please note that, in accord with the provisions of Section 14-229(B) of Chapter 14 of the County Code, if the subdivider
fails to submit a revised plat to address all of the requirements within six (6) months after the date of this letter, then the
application shall be deemed voluntarily withdrawn.

Dear Mr. Padalino:
The Department of Transportation, Charlottesville Residency Transportation and Land Use
Section, has reviewed the above referenced plats, as submitted by Bohler Engineering, dated 9 &
24, respectively, January 2019, and find them to be generally acceptable.
If further information is desired, please contact Justin Deel at 434-422-9894.
A VDOT Land Use Permit will be required prior to any work within the right-of-way. The
owner/developer must contact the Charlottesville Residency Transportation and Land Use
Section at (434) 422-9399 for information pertaining to this process.
