A bond reduction is possible, but there are outstanding items required in order to process further reduction, including installation of guardrail in locations shown on the approved Road Plan. Please ref. attached checklist. Also, given degree of correspondence, meetings, and history, a series of email with attachments, including scans of approved plan sheets have or will be sent as supplemental information. Please reference VDOT emails sent on February 20, 26, and 28 (X 2), several with attachments, which outline VDOT and county road acceptance procedures and expectations, as well as road plan bond reduction or release requirements (checklist; next pg.). Furthermore, a bond release cannot be processed without items noted in the County's Public Road Acceptance Procedure. Your request to release bond is on hold until the listed outstandingitems are complete. Please document completion within 30-days of this notice, or a new application and fee will be required to release or lower the bond from its new updated amount of $75,620.
