Jasper Hill of Washington, D.C. a parcel of land on State Route 620 near s:oodridge, Albemarle County, Virginia. My property is shown on Tax Nap Section 103 Parcel 51 and contains approximately 3 acres. At the time I made the agreement to sell this parcel of land, I was not aware of the Subdivision and Zoning Ordinances controlling the division of land in Albemarle County. This property is shown on the attached plat of survey by Warren F. 'Jade, C.L.S. , Charlottesville, Virginia. At the time of the said sale hr. Hill paid for the land in full but no deed of conveyance was executed. Due to my physical condition and advanced years and my desire to complete this transaction in accordance with the regulations I now wisJrto deed this land to Mr. Hill as agreed. I li.ad no intention of violating any ordinances and did so only through my lack of understanding of the requirements. I herein petition the Albemarle County Board of Zoning Appeals to approve the attached plat as being an existing. non--conforming lot. Disapproval will create a hardship due to the extenuating circtmstances which I will outline below. I am 90 years old end subjedr to a diabetic condition. During the past 2 years I have had both legs amputated above the knees. I am bedridden and my care is provided by my wife, Lucy, who is 87 years old. Cur small income is only enough to provide food and other necessities of living. There is no money to refund the money to L:r. Hill and the only logical solution is to be allowed to fullfill the sale as was agreed. by physical condition will not allow me to appear in person to present this petition to the board.
