The following revisions are requested to make the proposal consistent with the Entrance Corridor Sign Guidelines. 1. Revise the sign drawings to include the closest Pantone color number for the proposed blue color. 2. Revise the sign drawings for both cabinet signs to include the following note: "This sign shall have a non -illuminated, opaque background (zero light transmission background) only the text shall illuminate." 3. Note: the incorrect location for the signs was on your application. The correct location is Tax Map 04500-00-00-068C1 (2070 Seminole Trail) not the existing location at 1304 Richmond Road (Pantops Mountain). Please respond by email within 15 days of the date of this email indicating whether you will or will not proceed with these revisions. Your decision to make the revisions will suspend the 60-day review period associated with your original submittal. If you choose to complete the revisions, please email the revised drawings to me. If you choose not to proceed with these revisions, staff will be unable to approve your application. Failure to respond to this email shall be presumed to be a request to proceed to action on the application without further revisions. Also I had a question, a customer wants to put a big red fork in front of her market (it's way out in the country not near anything). The fork will not have a name or anything on it, just a red fork. There is no permit required for that correct? since it's just an accent or art? Your application was incomplete. We cannot begin review until the missing information is submitted. The following items were missing from your submittal: 1. The $129.00 Architectural Review Board application fee. 2. Sign drawing details clearly indicating each sign type (channel letter, cabinet, panel etc.) 3. Sign drawing details clearly indicating proposed sign materials and Pantone color number equivalents for all sign materials, text, graphic, faces, trim caps etc. 4. Sign drawing details clearly indicating the method of attachment to the wall. If a raceway is proposed for any signs, indicate the raceway color shall match the color of the wall to which it is attached. 5. Sign drawing details clearly showing the method and location, if any, of proposed illumination. If LED lighting is proposed, include the following note: The level of illumination provided by the LED lights will not exceed the illumination produced by a single stroke of 30 milliamp (ma) neon. 6. For internally illuminated signs, indicate which areas are opaque (material that light cannot penetrate) and which areas are illuminated. Please re -submit your sign drawings, including the missing information. (You may email the revised drawings to me at bnelson@?albemarle.org or send the copies by U.S. mail.) If the missing items are received within 15 days of the date of this letter, we will proceed with review, and the submittal date will be adjusted according to the date of your resubmittal. If the missing items are not received within 15 days of the date of this letter, the application will be denied and a new fee will be required to submit a new application.
