Dear Sirs: SUBJECT: Statement of Justification The following is a list of items that I feel will justify my request for variance of not more than ten feet. Also, there are a number of points that I will bring out below. a. My lot is a corner lot with only two neighbors adjoing it - one on the west side and the other in the back. As the picture shows, the one in the back is the one that will be affected directly. But, as the picture shows, he has no windows on the first floor and the two on the second floor will look well over the roof line of the new carport. b. The plans for the proposed addition were drawn by an architect so that the addition would meet the building restrictions that exist in the subdivision. The builder of the subdivision, Claude W. Cotten, was contacted by the architect about the addition and the architect was told by the builder that the addition met all of his restrictions. c. I have three bedrooms and in June with the addition of a new baby, I will need one more bedroom. I plan to make a bedroom out of the present recreation room and make a recreation room out of the pre- sent carport. Thus the need for the addition and additional storage space. d.
