This is to notify you, as an adjoining property
owner, that William W. Talbott will, on the 13th day of July,
1971, at 5:30 P. M. , apply to the Board of Zoning Appeals of
Albemarle County at the Board of Supervisors Room in the County
Office Building for a variance of the County B-1 zoning ordinance
requiring a thirty (30) foot setback of any sign placed on Mr.
Talbott' s property which is Parcel 40-C on County Map No. 60
(2B-3) located on the south side of U. S. Route 250 immediately
west of the Charlottesville city limits.
Mr. Talbott would like to place his sign with a five
(5) foot setback from Route 250.
Mr. Talbott will operate a discount gasoline station
and, due to trees located on the adjoining property owned by St.
Anne ' s School, traffic approaching from the east would not be
able to see a sign placed thirty (30) feet back.
If you wish to speak for or against this sign, please
be present at said hearing.
