These two steel columns are essential to support equipment which is
necessary for the operation of the plant_
Front of present building structure was designed and built to
support thj5 equipment in 1964_
This column is set back 15 ft. from the front of existing building.

STAFF REPORT
Morton ' s Frozen Foods has made application for a
35 foot variance from the minimum setback requirement of
50 feet in an M-1 Manufacturing zone as found in Article
7-4 of the County Zoning Ordinance . The granting of the
variance would permit the applicant to place two steel
columns fifteen feet from the right of way of State Route
240 on which the activity fronts . The two steel columns
will support equipment which is necessary for the operation
of the plant . The equipment will be located above the
existing structure which is within one foot of the right
of way of Route 240 . The applicant states that the front
of the present building structure was designed and
built to support this equipment in 1964 .
