Fleshman it February 27, 1974 Service Sign of Hartford (jE 3 Laurel Road Rocky Hill. Connecticut Gentlemen: Due to an error in advertising in the Daily Progress the public hearing originally scheduled for March 12, 1974, it is necessary that your application be readvertised and rescheduled for March 20, 1974, in the Board Room, County Office Building, Charlottesville, Virginia, at 5:30 g p.m. We regret this error, however we must comply with legal requirements for advertising. I am happy to inform you that subsequent to your last visit to this office I requested a ruling from the County Attorney on the section of the Zoning Ordinance which speaks of the height of a sign. He agrees with my interpretation that even if a building is only 15 feet high, a sign may be erected up to 30 feet in height. Therefore, it will not be necessary for your application to include a variance for height. You may amend your copy of the variance application. Sincerely yours, Mrs. Ruth Miller Zoning Administrator RM/plf cc: L. A. Beveridge P. S. Corrected posters may be picked up in this office.
