SUBJECT: JUSTIFICATION FOR VARIANCE
Gentlemen,
The attached request for variance is required because
the use intended for the modular office would not serve
the purpose in any other location around the present build-
ing.
The variance would not be required had we been able
to turn the unit 90° to run parallel with the present
building, but this is not practical because of our existing
fire sprinkler system and natural gas meter equipment which
is also located along this side of the present building.
The purpose of this new unit is to temporarily house
our personnel function which must have easy access for possible
new employees to apply for employment. In this location,
there is an existing parking area directly across Route 660 .
This is a temporary situation as far as the Murray Division
of Arrow Hart, Inc. is concerned with a life of four years .
At this time we expect to have better quarters by double decking
part of the existing office area. This modular office unit will
then be relocated to an area behind the plant or done away with
completely.
