Smith Chevrolet Sales is requesting a variance from Section 17-5-4 of the site development plan ordinance. "Where a site development plan is presented on public street of less than fifty (50) feet in width additional right-of-way shall be dedicated so that the public street be a minimum of 25 'feet from the centerline. DATE: November 26 , 1975 I have ruled that the only sign that I, as Zoning Administrator, could grant a permit for, on Route 29, would be a DIRECTIONAL SIGN as per: Section 16-80-7: "A sign (one end of which is pointed, on which an arrow is painted, or otherwise indicates the direction to which attention is called) not illuminated, four (4) square feet or less in area, giving the name only of a person (s) farm, business, or other establishment. " and Section 7-3 : "All structures, except signs advertising sale or rent of the property, shall be located thirty (30) feet or more from any street right-of-way, "
