Woodlands Land Project,
Stevens Maintenance on 6/8/18 and 6/12/18 performed required maintenance on the stormwater structures at the
Woodlands Land Project located 1720 Treetop Dr. Charlottesville,VA 22903.The BMP's are located in the very back in 3
seperate parking lots.This maintenance was done to bring the Woodlands closer to compliance with the County of
Albemarle County requirements.As such,Stevens did the following maintenance:
• Insured all storm structures are free of dirt and debris.
• Insure all storm structures are running free and no obstructions._
• Inspected all Filterra's and removed any trash/debris in units.The Filterra's get a full maintenance at the
beginning of August 2018.
• Flush stormlines to ensure they are free of sediment and debris.
• Remove all sediment and debris from underground retention cells that could possibly be removed.
• Insure underground detention cells are installed properly and certified.
• Video CCTV all main stormlines leading from one station upstream from the BMP to eventual outlet of the
stormline.
• Let Woodlands Land Project know of any areas in question if there is an area of question.
This report includes CCTV video which will be turned in to the owners of the Woodlands Land Project.We also have
photo documentation of the work in progress and as completed.The photo documentation is available upon request.
Please let me know if Albemarle County has any additional questions or requirements based on this work being
completed.

Stormwater Management—Wet Pond Asbuilt and Certification &
Underground Detention pipe certification Report
Dear Mr.Elsie:
Please allow this letter to serve as a formal certification of the existing stormwater management
wet pond constructed for the Woodlands of Charlottesville development. Overall,the constructed
pond meets and exceeds the design volumes, as listed on the attached certification asbuilt plan.
The wet pond riser, outfall pipe,and low flow orifice are in general conformance with the design
calculations and construction plans for the project. These riser pipes and orifices have been
cleaned out and are operational. The two forebays have been installed at the outfall pipes into the
pond,matching the design from the approved plan. The forebays have been cleaned out and the
riprap weirs have been replaced,per the approved design to provide a channel for the water to
filter from the forebay to the pond. All the woody vegetation around the pond and along the dam
has been removed. The rock gabion baskets have been installed in the pond per the approved
plans. The riprap channels have been improved as they transition and leave the rock walled
channel portion of the stream. The dam has been raised up to the 512 elevation, providing the
necessary storage and freeboard for the pond,and the safety bench along the dam has been
constructed,per the approved plans. The pond is operating per the approved design for this
stormwater management facility.
In addition,pleas allow this letter to serve as a formal certification for the underground detention
facilities for the Woodlands of Charlottesville development. The(2)facilities have been cleaned
out and surveyed. The orifices and weirs meet the requirements from the approved construction
plans,and the underground facilities are functioning in accordance with the approved design.
The pipes are consistent with the approved construction plans and the system has an equivalent
detention storage area. The underground detention facilities are operating per the approved
design for these facilites.
