I also attached our email requesting response for your convenience.As you probably recall,our email included the full site plan and sample language that could be cut and pasted for approval.The response is a little frustrating given that the planting plan clearly shows what is proposed. For instance with the Gas Department comment"As long as there are no large plantings(i.e trees) planted within 10'of our gas facilities we are okay". All but one of the trees on either frontage is within 10' of the gas line and this is clearly shown on the plans. Our opinion is that they do not object to the plan but they can't approve it either. If we follow everybody else's rules there will be no trees around the perimeter of this property and the ARB,the Entrance Corridor, and this site lose out. Why don't we just move ahead with the plan as designed? Thanks, Alan Franklin, PE P.S. Will you be grading down or doing digging that will require us to relocate our cables? Best plan of action is to request a locates ticket and we meet at the site with these plans to ensure no conflict and no stoppage of work once you start digging. As long as there are no large plantings (i.e trees) planted within 10' of our gas facilities we are okay. Smaller shrubs and bushes can be planted closer to the gas lines as long as Miss Utility tickets are called in and excavators are conscience of the gas lines in the area.
