Leffers, Jr. Tax Map: 50 Parcel 12 Acreage: 2.914 Zoning: A-1 A EXISTING ACTIVITY / Residential Area PROPOSED VARIANCE The applicant has an existing "L" shape single-family residence and he wishes to close in an unenclosed portion for a den, rear entry and second floor. The applicant's existing rear building line is 25 feet from the property and therefore needs a 10 foot variance from the 35 foot rear setback requirement. ZONING ORDINANCE REQUIREMENT Each main structure shall have a rear yard of thirty-five (35) or more. STAFF COMMENT The home is existing and the addition would appear unobtrusive in that it shall not exceed the existing side or rear building line.
