PROPOSED VARIANCE
The applicant has an existing "L" shape single-family residence and he
wishes to close in an unenclosed portion for a den, rear entry and second
floor. The applicant's existing rear building line is 25 feet from the
property and therefore needs a 10 foot variance from the 35 foot rear
setback requirement.
ZONING ORDINANCE REQUIREMENT
Each main structure shall have a rear yard of thirty-five (35) or more.
STAFF COMMENT
The home is existing and the addition would appear unobtrusive in that
it shall not exceed the existing side or rear building line. If the
Board should choose to approve the variance the staff recommends no
conditions.
