ZONING ORDINANCE REQUIREMENT
` Category 1: residential developments served by a central sewer system
t, and a central water supply shall have a maximum net residential density
V of twenty (20) units per acre; provided, however, that the Board of
Supervisors may, by special use permit issued pursuant to Section 11-
13 of this ordinance, authorized, in particular cases, residential
developments of greater density, not to exceed thirty-four (34) units
per acre, upon a finding by the Board that the same will be compatible
with the public health, safety, and general welfare and with the character
and development of the neighborhood.
VARIANCE REQUESTED
Applicant requests a variance to allow for a separate septic systems
rather than a central system due to the topographic condition of the
land.
STAFF COMMENT
The local Health Department recommends two separate systems and
the County Engineer, having reviewed the matter, concurs with the Health
Department's opinion. Staff recommends approval. It the Board
chooses to approve the variance, the staff recommends no conditions.

The Zoning Administrator reviewed your variance application of July 8,
1977. This application is incorrect and inconsistent with the discussion
which Mr. Ron Keeler, Assistant Director of Planning, and myself had with
you concerning the proposed quadriplex.
Therefore your application is not properly before the Board of Zoning
Appeals and can not be heard on August 9, 1977.
Please contact the Zoning Administrator for a re-application to be
properly before the Board of Zoning Appeals.
