VARIANCE REQUESTED
The applicant seeks a 34 ' foot variance from section 18-3-1 of the
Zoning Ordinance (Scenic Highway Designation) to build a deck
to a single family dwelling. Applicant claims the hardship that
this normal addition to their house is prohibited unless a variance
is granted since the scenic highway provisions do not provide a
grandfather clause to take care of this minor construction.
ZONING ORDINANCE REQUIREMENT
Section 18-3-1 requires a setback of 150 ' for all structures .
