VA-78-30 to request relief from Section 18-3-1 for recon-
struction of their country store , allowing for a 140 foot
variance from Scenic Highway, Route 6 .
A public hearing will be held by the Board of Zoning
Appeals on June 13 , 1978, at 3: 00 p.m. , in the Board of

the kind planned, and one of special benefit to the elderly and to those who
. are without regular means of transportation. However, the physical features
of the site prevent compliance with the zoning restrictions as now drawn, The
store utilizes a plot that could not be used for agriculture or, forseeably,
any other purpose within the present restrictions. Abandonment o? the site
would result in its becoming a catch-all ior trash and an eye-sore on the
highway which the zoning restrictions purpose to prevent.
