The side of the house shown on the enclosed sketch is only exit (door) suitable for porch location to bldnd with existing house layout within practical cost. The existing deck is rottened and needs to be replaced. The planned structure would add value to the property. Zoning Ordinance Requirement The minimum side yard for each main structure shall be ten (10) feet or more. Staff Recommendation Since the porch and deck are existing and the design is consistent with the existing structure, staff recommends approval.
