Re: Board of Zoning Appeals Action VA-79-03
Gentlemen:
This letter is to inform you that on February 13, 1979, during
the regualr meeting of the Albemarle County Board of Zoning Appeals,
your application for VA-79-03 was approved with the following conditions:
1. Planning Staff approval of landscape of sign.
2. The sign be maintained within 60 days after notice by the
Zoning Administrator in the event of storm damage or other
causes of damage.
3. The variance runs with the owner and is not transferable.
4. Scenic Highway Sign submittal procedures are followed 2 weeks
in advance of the proposed setting of the sign.
The variance allows relief from section 18-3-1 of the Albemarle County
Zoning Ordinance to allow a 12 square foot business sign to be located 12
feet from the right-of-way; a variance of 138 feet.
