Proposed Variance
Applicant requests relief from section 2-3 of the Albemarle County
Zoning Ordinance to allow a single-family dwelling to be located
67 feet from the property line; a variance of 8 feet.
Zoning Ordinance Requirements
All structures, as herein specifically defined, shall be located a minimum
of seventy-five (75) feet from any street, road, or access easement.
Staff Recommendation
The applicant claims the hardship of topographic and regulatory
conditions. (See plat showing required septic setback from
a tributary to the Reservoir and the 75 foot setback requirement.)
Staff would recommend approval.
