I, Louis (Buddy) Rauch, as an officer and agent for Fruit Growers
Co-operative Inc. , do solemnly swear that the foregoing is true as to all that
is stated herein.
1) That storage areas at the present site are used for storage of
hay, feed, farm drainage devices and the like.
2) That such storage has been used as such since and before April
15, 1968.

1) That Fruit Growers Cooperative Inc . is a Kona husiness licensed
to do business in Albemarle County.
2) That the property on Tax Map 56 A-1 , Parcel 01 and 56 A-2-0127,
Parcel 65 is zoned R-1 .
1) That :a pre-csir;l lot hnilding prior to zoning is located on pro-
perty known ear Tax Map 56 A-2-0127, Parcel 65, .500 acres, and said land is
zoned li-1 .
4) That the corner building, said, .500 acres was used prior to 1968
for nearly 30 years as offices and was so used until on or about December 1977
for PriiII Growers Cooperat icc Inc .

into its, retail area located to the west of said building for convenience to
customers shopping in the retail area, the offices were rented out to a tenant .
6) That well within 2 year_s after said move, Fruit Growers rented

County regulations by being licensed to do business as did business there unit '1l

7) That said offices on the .50n acre zoned B-1 , were in existence
prior to the adoption of the Albemarle County Zoning Ordinance and were there-
ore exempt From County reclniremcnt :; under Artici0 10 of the zoning ordinance

has not changed nor been discontinued at any time to this date for a greater
period of 2 years per section 10-1-3 of the zoning ordinance and said office
remains in compliance since its disuse which occurred on June 5, 1979.
8) That said Fruit Growers Cooperative Inc . has prospective tenants
see1- i n,' to rent said office space and plan to do so upon the granting of neces-
sary clearances, permits , or special use permit or an" other use permit :as such
may be necessary and that based on the above, such clearances and permits
should be granted consistent with the B-1 zone.

a prospective tenant of this Corporation, namely Dr. John J . thickly, Veternarian
for a professional ional office, he processed forthwith by the Zoning Administrator
to the Planning Department for docketing to be heard at Public Hearings before
the Albemarle County Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors respectively.
