Part C: Description of Proposal
Describe your proposal.Attach a separate sheet if necessary.
The Owners currently have an application approved to stockpile inert material (primarily concrete,
masonry, and asphalt debris)on parcels 22C3, 70, and 71. These parcels do not lie within the Route 29
entrance corridor; however, the stockpile has mistakenly been expanded onto parcel 72, which does lie
within the Route 29 entrance corridor. The Owners/Applicants wish to continue this use on parcel 72 and
they wish to process the materials on-site for re-use. Proposed screening and site sections are provided
in the Initial Site Development Plan submittal.
Part D: Applicant Agreement

• Each application package must contain(8)folded copies of all plans and documents being submitted.
Only(1) set of building material samples is required. All submittal items,including building material
samples,become the property of Albemarle County. Applicants are encouraged to maintain duplicate
copies of all submittal items in their own files.
• Only complete application packages will be scheduled for ARB review. The application package is not
complete without the appropriate checklist, completed, signed, and included with the required submittal
materials indicated on the checklist.

Important Note: Submittal packages must contain (8)collated copies of all information unless otherwise
indicated.
A. Written description of the proposal
▪ Provide a general description of all proposed work.
❑ Explain how the proposal is compatible with the surrounding area and the Entrance Corridor.
Proposal is for an existing use in an industrial park.
B. Site plan showing the following (drawn to the scale of 1"=20', clearly legible and folded):

▪ Schematic layout of parking, travelways, and other improvements.

• Existing and proposed topography drawn with contour intervals of 2-feet, and with sufficient off-site
topography to describe prominent and pertinent off-site features and physical characteristics, but in
no case less than 50-feet outside of the site.
QZ Location and size of existing and proposed utilities and easements. Identify type of utility and extent
of easement.
❑ Conceptual stormwater management plan. N/A:Stormwater Managment to be provided with final site plan.

❑ Provide labeled, color, 8-1/2" x 11" photographs of the site as seen from both directions on the
Entrance Corridor.

productive. Drawings or other submittal items that clarify topography, visibility, utilities, landscaping,
or other unique or unusual conditions are welcome.
