Box 7565 Charlottesville,VA 22906 RE: ARB-2017-109: Cville Real Estate& Construction wall sign RE: ARB-2017-110: Cville Real Estate& Construction monument sign Dear Jon, I have reviewed the above-noted sign application, which is incomplete. The following omission and revisions are requested to make the proposal consistent with the Entrance Corridor Sign Guidelines. 1. A payment of$129 is due. The signs will be constructed in the Entrance Corridor and do not meet the conditions of a Comprehensive Sign Review. (For more information on which properties have a Comprehensive Sign Program,please visit: http://www.albemarle.org/department.asp?department=cdd&relpage=4214) 2. A sample of the color blue(SW 6811 "Honorable Blue")to be used on both signs was submitted, but the sign drawings list the proposed blue color as"Oracal dark blue"Revise the drawing to reflect the standard SW ID number, if that blue is the same as the Oracal dark blue. 3. Provide the height from the ground of the monument sign on the sign drawing. 4. Provide a landscaping plan around the monument sign that includes botanical names and planting sizes. If existing landscaping exists and will be utilized,make that note. Please respond by email within 15 days of the date of this letter indicating whether you will or will not proceed with these revisions. Your decision to make the revisions will suspend the 60-day review period associated with your original submittal. If you choose to complete the revisions, please email the revised drawings to me. If you choose not to proceed with these revisions, staff will be unable to approve your application. Failure to respond to this letter shall be presumed to be a request to proceed to action on the application without further revisions.
