Subject: RE:ARB2017-139 Old Trail Block 32
Hi Ammy,
Thanks for your email. To clarify, the standard language in the notification letters states that the project is on the
consent agenda because that is the goal for Initial Site Development Plans, such as this submission for Old Trail Village
Block 32. If the project is placed on the consent agenda, it means that staff recommends approval without conditions;
the applicant may come to the meeting but would not have to present any material as the board votes immediately
upon staff's recommendations when a case is on the consent agenda.
I have yet to finish my review of the Initial Site Development Plan for ARB2017-139, so I am currently not certain
whether the project will stay on the consent agenda or not. Following review, the staff report is delivered to the ARB
and the applicant a week prior to the ARB meeting (in this case, you will receive, via email,an electronic copy of the staff
report on February 5); at that time, it will be clear whether staff recommends approval without conditions (in which case
it will stay on the consent agenda) or whether staff recommends approval with conditions (in which case a discussion
will commence at the ARB meeting on February 12). If the latter is the case, the applicant has 15 minutes to speak,
during which time he/she may present new material and address the conditions outlined in the staff report as well as
answer questions raised by the board members.
In sum, the applicant or his/her designee must be present if the project is not on the consent agenda, but again, the
applicant's presence is not necessary if the case remains on the consent agenda.
I hope this clarifies how the meeting will run on February 12; please let me know if you have further questions.
Thanks,

Good morning Heather,
I am following up on the letter you sent to about Old Trail Village Block 32. The plan is on the consent
agenda. I am not familiar with how the consent agenda works. Do I need to provide anything for the
meeting on February 12, 2018?
