Attached please find documents,as requested, reflecting revisions to be incorporated in response to your requests,specifically: 1. The lighting/photometric plan has been revised to reflect an LLF of 1.0. The attached revised fixture cut sheets support that calculation. All these documents have been prepared and assembled by Moore's Electrical. 2. All fixtures have either been revised or clarified,and fixture schedule and cut sheets updated,to show that all fixtures selected are 3,000 lumens or less. 3. We have eliminated the strip LED lighting on the north elevation, although I think that there was some misunderstanding as to what we proposed. I completely understand and agree with the County's position on"outlining of buildings"(and windows). One only has to view one striking restaurant example of that on the east side of the 29N to know why. We had proposed a strip of hidden LED lights(not visible but indirect)in lieu of multiple"pin can"downlights washing a portion of the north wall. Feeling that recessed cans would create a vertical"striping"effect that would not be as nice as a subtle and even lighting within a concealed overhang. We have withdrawn this request. Once the two overlapping planes of that north elevation are constructed, and our initial intent can be more clearly demonstrated, I may request reconsideration, through the proper ARB process. One other revision,reflected in the attached documents, is worthy of note. Therefore,the revised architectural elevations, attached hereto, now show the same vertical metal siding on the entire east elevation. I trust that these submittals meet your intent and fully satisfy your request. If not, or if something remains unclear, please let me know immediately. I must confess that I find the labels difficult to read on the plan, so if you need me to i can request that they enlarge and bolden them. Also, to be clear, the Stonco "floods" are surface mounted, to replace the existing wall pacs. We are REPLACING EXISTING, not SUPPLEMENTING. If you would prefer, we can leave the existing wall pacs as and where they are instead of using the replacements. I am sending you the remainder of the cut sheets via separate email. Quite a bit of back-and-forth between our electrical contractor, BRW's office and me from Thursday till now to make sure that we were all on the same page, and toning down the lighting at the entrances. Bruce's office will be hand-delivering hard copy to you tomorrow(Tuesday). I'll be sending a second email with several renderings of the lighted west elevation of the building. I have asked Bruce Wardell's office to revise their drawings to incorporate your requested annotations. 1. You are correct,the cementitious panels proposed are Cembonit high density fiber cement paneling- color "Graphite". 2. The existing ground-mounted mechanical equipment on the north and west elevations will be removed. We are not proposing to relocate it at this time, but rather to install new ground-mounted units on east side of the building (not visible from the entrance corridor and where most of the building's existing units already are). As we do not have tenants for the building at this time, and as the mechanical requirements (and equipment sizes) for the space will be at least partially driven by the type of medical use, when we do have specific tenant plans we will include whatever information the County requires identifying size and location in a subsequent application for ARB approval and building permits. 3. We will include a note on the revised version of our current submittal stating "Visibility of all mechanical equipment from the Entrance Corridor shall be eliminated". 4. With respect to electrical, you are correct that have proposed to use the same fixtures/wattages for the uplights and down"channel lights" as we used on Building 2331, if available. If not, equivalent fixtures from another manufacturer are proposed. I've asked Moore's Electrical who did Building 2331 and will do Building 2325 (current submittal) as well to prepare a light/photometric plan with fixture schedule. It is attached. I have asked for Moore's to furnish cut sheets as well, but have not received them yet. I'll try to forward them to you today. 1 5. Your comment re the Comprenensive Sign Plan for this development requiring channel letter wall signs with white faces is noted and agreed to. We also agree that no signage is being requested or approved with this submittal. When we have specific tenants who request signage (as the University of Virginia did), we will submit an application for specific signage, following the County ARB and Signage application/review process guidelines. I'll also speak with Bruce's office this morning and ask them to have the revised drawing, with requested annotations, to me within the next several days. I told Bruce of our timing need when I spoke with him two days ago. I hope, Margaret, that I have adequately addressed your comments. I will push for those remain submittals from Moore's and BRW.
