Subject: 6-11-18 Pre app followup
Bob,
As discussed the proposal will require a site plan amendment. Based on the level of revisions it
is appropriate for this to be covered under a Letter of Revision (LOR). LINK to LOR
application.
In the LOR please include all changed to the site plan we discussed to include: a lighting plan
because of the exterior light upgrades, a revised landscape plan (if modified or additional
landscaping is provided), and depict the modified building footprint with the structural facade
upgrades (if they deviate from what is currently approved).
If you have any other requested changes to the site plan let me know beforehand so I can
determine if an LOR is still the appropriate vehicle for the modification or if the request jumps
to a minor amendment.
Thanks

Subject:guidelines and comp sign plans
Bob,
The EC guidelines we referenced in today's pre-app are copied below. The full text of the guidelines can be found here.
• The following note should be added to the landscape plan: "All site plantings of trees and shrubs shall be allowed
to reach, and be maintained at, mature height;the topping of trees is prohibited. Shrubs and trees shall be
pruned minimally and only to support the overall health of the plant."
• Any appearance of"blankness" resulting from building design should be relieved using design detail or
vegetation,or both.
• Landscaping of buildings and other structures:
a. Trees or other vegetation should be planted along the front of long buildings as necessary to soften the
appearance of exterior walls. The spacing, size, and type of such trees or vegetation should be determined
by the length, height, and blankness of such walls.
1
b.Shrubs should be used to integrate the site, buildings, and other structures; dumpsters, accessory
buildings and structures; "drive thru"windows; service areas; and signs.Shrubs should measure at least
24 inches in height.
We also discussed Comprehensive Sign Plans. Approved examples can be found at this link .The sign guidelines can be
found here.
