The filing deadline for the May 6th meeting (which is when your project is slated) was March 25th; you have also missed
the filing deadline for the May 20th meeting, which was April 8th. I have to write my staff report for your project next
week (it will be due to the ARB on April 291h), so unless you have architectural drawings and materials samples ready to
give me by close of business tomorrow, Thursday, April 11, I'm afraid that yes, it is too late to submit such. Like I said,
you have submitted all that you are required to submit for an Initial Site Plan; architectural drawings will be required
when you submit the Final Site Plan.
Thanks,

Thanks. I will do my homework.
Is it too late to submit any architectural drawing s for this meeting? If not, when is that deadline?

Hello Reid,
Your application has been submitted as an Initial Site Plan; no architectural elevations are required at an Initial Site Plan
review. If you had provided architectural drawings with your submission, you could have come to the ARB for a
Preliminary Review, but that is not required. This just means that all architectural drawings and material samples will be
reviewed at the Final Site Plan stage.
At an Initial SDP review, the ARB will comment upon the proposed site plan, specifically grading and landscaping.
Generally, Initial Site Plans are placed on the consent agenda unless staff during the review phase and the preparation of
the staff report feels that it should be placed on the regular items section of the agenda for discussion or if a board
member feels there is a need to discuss some aspect of the site design. Then whatever recommendations are adopted
by the ARB for future submissions or for revisions prior to approval of the Initial Site Plan will be forwarded to the Agent
of the Site Review Committee — in this case, it is the lead planner of your Initial Site Plan, Paty Saternye.
I'm going to provide you the hyperlink to our Zoning Ordinance chapter (30.6) on Overlay Districts, which the Entrance
Corridor (which enables the ARB purview) is here. I encourage you to familiarize yourself with the ARB review process by
spending time perusing our website, here, and I especially encourage you to review our Entrance Corridor Design
Guidelines.
Please let me know if you have further questions.
Thanks,

Importance: High
Heather,
I got your letter that our project is on the ARB agenda for May 61h. What architectural design documents will be part of
this review? In other words, what's currently in the file that the ARB is prepared to review? Secondly, what is our
deadline to submit other, revised documents to be included in this review?
Thanks,
Reid
