Dr. Daniel Flynn Tax Map: 60A Parcel : (9) 16 Zoned: R-3 Existing Activity Georgetown Veterinary Hospital Proposed Variance The applicant requests relief from section 6-3-1 of the Albemarle County Zoning Ordinance to allow an illuminated free-standing business sign at 5 feet from the right-of-way. A variance was granted in 1976 allowing the sign to be located 5 feet from the right-of-way, however, the Board made the variance subject to a condition that it not be illuminated. Zoning Ordinance Requirements All structures, except signs advertising sale or rent of the property shall be located thirty (30) feet from any street right-of-way.
