Dear Mr. Frank:
On January 8, 1980, during the regular meeting of the Albemarle
County Board of Zoning Appeals , your application for VA-79-84 was
denied. This request sought relief from section 13-3-2 of the Albemarle
County Zoning Ordinance to allow a projecting sign to be located one (1 )
foot from the right-of-way.
On January 9, 1980, you applied for a variance to install two (2)
walls signs to be located above the eave lines of the roof and totaling
thirty-five (35) square feet in size.
After Mr. Robert Vaughn, Zoning Administrator, and myself visited
the site and discussed this matter with you, you decided to withdraw
your application.
Your wife wrote me a letter stating that you all have decided to
install a wall sign in compliance with the Zoninc Ordinance requirements.
This was almost two months ago, and you still have not removed the pro-
jecting sign.
You have until March 11 , 1980, to remove the projecting sign and
comply with the Zoning Ordinance or I will proceed with the necessary
legal remedies.
