Proposed Variance
The applicant requests relief from section - of the Albemarle
County Zoning Ordinance to allow a do arage to be located
7 feet from the side property line; a variance of 3 feet.
Zoning Ordinance Requirement
Side. The minimum side yard for each main structure shall be ten (10)
feet or more.
Staff Recommendation
Staff feels the applicant does have a hardship because there is no room
on the south side of the house. The only suitable place is on the North
side of the house. Staff recommends approval .
