Roberts Tax Map: 018 Parcel: 8D Zoned: A-1 Existing Activity Single family residence Proposed Variance The applicant requests relief from section 2-2 of the Albemarle County Zoning Ordinance to allow one single family dwelling and one mobile home to be located on 2.008 acres; a variance of 1.992 acres. Zoning Ordinance Requirement The minimum lot area for single family dwelling shall be two acres. Staff Recommendations This does not meet the area requirements for two dwelling units. If this is approved the applicant would still have to apply for a special use permit and be approved by the Planning Commission and the Board of Supervisors.
