Tax Map: 061W-03 Parcel: 26 Zoned: R-3 Existing Activity Nursing Home Proposed Variance The applicant requests relief from section 15A-5-5 of the Albemarle County Zoning Ordinance to allow an identification sign to be 32 square feet, a variance of 30 square feet. Zoning Ordinance Requirement Identification Signs: Provided: (a) not more than two__ (2) square feet in area; (b) not more than one (1) on any lot or premises. Staff Recommendations A maximum two (2) square feet sign as required by section 15A-5-5 of the R-3 zone would not be visible from Commonwealth Drive which is a through street.
