Dear Mr. & Mrs. Grove:
I have reviewed the Variance (VA 80-40) granted by the Board
of Zoning Appeals on September 9, 1980, for construction on the
above referenced parcel . I have determined that the action of
the Board of Zoning Appeals reduces the required setback from
fifty (50) feet to thirty-one (31) feet . The thirty-one (31)
foot setback is required to be maintained from the adjacent
right-of-way to the east (front ) of the property as well as the
adjacent right-of-way to the south . All current improvements on
the property comply with the required setbacks.

Staff Recommendations
This is the only place that a carport would serve any useful
