Proposed Variance
The applicant requests relief from Section 10.4 of the Albemarle County
Zoning Ordinance to allow a parcel to have a road frontage on a public
road of 100 feet; a variance of 150 feet.
Zoning Ordinance Requirement
Pursuant to Section 10.4, all parcels shall have the minimum frontage of
250 feet on any existing public roads.
Staff Recommendations
The staff recommends approval with the following condition:
(1) That when this parcel is separated into two parcels, the parcel
containing 100 feet of road frontage shall be a minimum of two (2)
acres.
