The applicant requests relief from section 10 . 4 of the
Albemarle County Zoning Ordinance to allow a single-
family dwelling to be located at 10 feet from the side
property line ; a variance of 15 feet from each side
property line .
Zoning Ordinance Requirements
Pursuant to Section 10 . 4 , all structures shall be
located twenty-five (25) feet from the side property
lines .
Staff Recommendations
A dwelling could be situated on this lot and not need
a variance . In order for this dwelling to be setback
in line with the dwellings on the adjoining properties
a variance would be needed . Based on these facts , the
staff recommends approval .
