Melvin Dixon Tax Map; 020 Parcel : 5E Zoned: RA Existing Activity Vacant Lot Proposed Variance The applicant requests relief from Section 10,4 of the Albemarle County Zoning Ordinance to allow a single-family dwelling to be located 50 feet from the right-of-way of Route 605; a variance of 25 feet. Zoning Ordinance Requirement Pursuant to Section 10.4, all structures shall be located seventy-five (75) feet or more from the front property line. Staff Recommendations The lot has limited depth at all but one portion from the road front. The topography of the lot is of 15° to 30° slope in most areas except near abutting road.
